OUR HISTORY AND PURPOSE
As our name indicates, Maha means Great, and Nusa means Homeland, our mission and purpose is to create sustainable value through our businesses for our employees, shareholders, communities and our country, Indonesia. Mahanusa was established in 1999, when Indonesia was in its early phase of recovery from economic and political crises. Throughout the years, based on our basic values of integrity, discipline, hard work and creativity, we have been able to build several vibrant businesses which hopefully will continue to grow. In recent years, we have also begun to spread our activities to other Southeast Asian countries, with the aim to contribute to the region’s emergence in the global scene. We have also partnered with several regional and global companies and continue to welcome future cooperation to pursue opportunities in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Property
Mahanusa has historically been active in the commercial property sector in Indonesia, focusing on offices, apartments and retail properties.
Financial
Having started in the financial sectors, we are still active through two companies in the consumer finance and fund management sectors, both in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region.
Diversified Sectors
Mahanusa also invests in several sectors which we believe could grow in the future, such as technology and sustainability, in which we intend to focus more in the future, putting more capital to work. We also engage in opportunistic activities in the luxury retail and speciality chemical businesses.
